For expert sharpening of convex and beveled edge scissors and thinners, clipper blades, and knives we offer you our 27 years of experience. All sharpening work is done by Ralph C. Barger and is tested prior to return.  ALL WORK IS GUARANTEED. We sharpen scissors & thinners at all Dog Shows that we attend and act as a pick up station for blade sharpening, clipper and dryer repair.  We are factory certified by Wolff Industries and Kenchii Cutting Edge Shears Co. for  sharpening and reconditioning of bevel edge shears and convex hollow ground shears.  We also offer expert sharpening of all types of Clipper Blades.  Using the latest factory equipment we can recondition your Scissor to as good (if not better) than new condition.

NOTICE:  The Arco Moser Blade is a "throw away" blade due to the thinness of the cutter blade.  We DO NOT GUARANTEE sharpening on this blade and we cannot test these blades here.  If, after sharpening, it will not cut for you we will offer a $3.00 discount on any new replacement blade. SHARPENING RATES:

Scissor sharpening:

Regular Beveled Shears:  $6.00

Convex (Japanese Style) Hollowground Shears:  $14.00

Shears tune up:  $3.50 (in addition to regular Sharpening fees)

Serration or re-serration of Shears:  $3.50

(includes ride polishing, nylon washer, bearings, bumper replacement)

Clipper Blade sharpening:

Clipper Blades:  $5.00

Ceramic Blade Sharpening:  $5.00 if ceramic cutter blade is not worn out.  $12.50 if replacement and sharpening required.

Clipper Repair         $15.00 labor, plus parts

We repair Andis, Oster, and Wahl clippers.

NOTICE: Due to the difficulty in obtaining Laube parts, we will not longer service Laube clippers.  We recommend that you refer to Laube for any repair work directly.  We are sorry for any inconvenience..

We do not sharpen Blades at shows but act as a pick up station for Blades and repairs and do at the shop as soon as we return.

Blades &/or Shears 10 or more units SHIPPING IS FREE!!

ALL BLADES (with the acceptation of the Arco Blade) AND SHEARS ARE TESTED FOR SHARPNESS PRIOR TO SHIPPING. WE HAVE A 30 DAY GUARANTEE ON ALL OUR WORK. THEREFORE, IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY PROBLEMS PLEASE RETURN TO US WITHIN 30 DAYS FOR RETESTING AND FOR ANY ADJUSTMENTS THAT MAY NEED TO BE MADE.  OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT IN FULL.

******Shipping Notice******

Due to problems that we have been having recently with the postal service concerning theft of items left on premises, effective immediately we will be adding a $1.95 fee to all invoices for mandatory signature confirmation on all items.  If however you send in 10 items or more your order will still qualify for our free freight special.  This fee is our way to try and ensure that our customers have no further problems with loss of items due to them being left.

A unit is a single blade set or shear. Payment should accompany all sharpening orders. On repair orders we will contact you for payment method when job is completed.

NOTE:  Please wrap each blade or shear in a paper towel before packing and shipping to prevent breakage.
